Black Country, New Road announce Spring UK tour

A run of dates in May will road test the band’s first new material since the departure of Isaac Wood.

London’s decorated Black Country, New Road have announced plans for a short UK tour set to unfold this Spring.

Commencing in May, the tour will journey through Brighton, Manchester, Bristol and Leeds before concluding at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut. The new performances will mark the group’s first since the departure of singer/guitarist Isaac Wood and precede scheduled festival appearances at the likes of Primavera Sound, Visions and Green Man Festival.

In an accompanying statement Black Country, New Road explain that the shows will offer an opportunity to road test new material that has been written as a sextet this year, and that no songs from their debut and sophomore albums will feature within the set list.

We’re incredibly pleased to announce our touring dates for 2022.
We’re looking forward to sharing what we’ve been working on with you.
The six of us will be performing a set of brand new music.
We will not be performing any music from ‘For the first time’ or ‘Ants From Up There’.
Although the majority of our performances will be at festivals, we’ve arranged a short run of smaller shows around the UK in May to debut and road-test this new material.
We hope to see as many of you as we can over the summer.
Thanks, BC,NR”

Tickets for all newly announced performances are available to purchase here from April 7th.
