Hear album opener ‘Dawn Of New Day’ now.

Californian keyboard virtuoso John Carroll Kirby has announced the release of a new album entitled Dance Ancestral.
A burgeoning and chameleonic force within the contemporary musical landscape, Kirby has skilfully navigated the realms of off-kilter hip-hop, contemplative ambience, slick 1970s jazz excursions and more over a prolific two year period spent in partnership with Los Angeles purveyors of cool Stones Throw Records.
Dance Ancestral will arrive next month and is preceded by its leading single, an immersive and spiritual collaboration with revered American multi-instrumentalist Laraaji entitled ‘Dawn Of New Day’ that premieres today. Aligning with the album’s release Kirby will celebrate with live performances in Los Angeles and New York on April 8th and 16th respectively.
