The announcement of a Spring UK tour aligns with the group’s first new music of the year.

KOKOROKO have returned for the release of a new single.
‘Something’s Going On’ marks the London jazz collective’s first musical release of the year and succeeds a period of retreat wherein the eight musicians regrouped in a studio setting to spend time recording their long-awaited debut album.
Whilst maintaining roots in the musical language of Fela Kuti and Tony Allen‘s pioneering collaborative output, ‘Something’s Going On’ also signals a newfound gravitation to the otherworldly psychedelic leanings of Parliament-Funkadelic with modulation-doused keys and guitar underpinning the band’s communal vocals and joyous horn arrangements to stellar effect.
Aligning with their new single KOKOROKO have also shared plans to embark upon an eleven-date UK tour beginning in March with planned stops in Leeds, Manchester, Brighton, London and more.
