Burgeoning Orlando-via-San Diego trio Cruza have released a new EP entitled Dog Daze.
The project arrives on the heels of a recently concluded North American tour schedule in support of London’s Puma Blue and features the preceding singles ‘Groove Therapy’, ‘Brewster’ and ‘Malibu’.
Filtering stylistic tendencies of the venerated 90s neo soul blueprint carved by forebears such as D’Angelo, Maxwell and Bilal through a heady and effect-laden lens, Cruza’s compositions yield intoxicating results suffused with an infectious, homespun production value and melodies that linger in the mind well after the project’s final chord.
