Gab Winterfield has shared a new single from his praised solo project Golf Alpha Bravo.
‘Smoothie’ arrives with an accompanying B-side entitled ‘Melt Away’ and follows news of Winterfield’s return to the United Kingdom with the singer-songwriter recently sharing details surrounding scheduled live performances in Liverpool and Manchester on May 12th and 13th respectively.
Coalescing overdriven blues guitars and a carefree buoyancy with the same unshakeable, funk-leaning rhythmic sensibility that propelled Jagwar Ma in to the public’s line of vision, ‘Smoothie’ could perhaps mark Winterfield’s most compelling and accessible solo work to date.
