Wide Awake announce 2022 lineup featuring Caribou, Primal Scream, Connan Mockasin and more

Unfolding over May 27th and 28th.

London’s Wide Awake have revealed the first wave of acts confirmed to appear at the 2022 iteration of their annual event held at Brockwell Park.

With a newly expanded programme that will unfold over two days between May 27th and 28th, the festival’s first day will focus on a curation of electronic music whilst the second will explore broader realms, from jagged, guitar-wielding post-punk to synth-led collisions of psychedelia and jazz. Bicep and Primal Scream will fulfil headlining slots for the two respective days, with the latter performing their seminal 1991 album Screamadelica in full as part of the album’s thirtieth anniversary celebrations.

Elsewhere the festival confirms performances from Caribou, Working Mens Club, Floating Points, Fat White Family, Shabaka HutchingsThe Comet Is Coming, Connan Mockasin, Kevin Morby and Yard Act.

Organisers also promise that many more acts are due to be confirmed over coming months.
