Black Country, New Road share new sophomore album preview

Black Country, New Road have reemerged for the release of a new single.

‘Concorde’ marks the third preview of the band’s looming sophomore album Ants From Up There, which follows this year’s Mercury Prize-nominated For The First Time.

Following the path set by the album’s previous previews, ‘Concorde’ presents the band firmly within an exploration of the more tender and pastoral facets of their sound. Melodic lines unfurl through group vocals, saxophone, violin and mandolin with a newfound buoyancy whilst coalescing with the septet’s long-standing penchants for off-kilter rhythm, uncommon time and captivating build and release dynamics.
