American bass guitarist and singer-songwriter Thundercat appeared as the musical guest on Wednesday’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Convening with his long-standing live band and Late Show bandleader Jon Baptiste, the musician gave a performance of ‘Dragonball Durag’ from his decorated and Grammy winning 2020 album It Is What It Is.

This year Thundercat remains actively on tour in support of his fourth album, joined on most scheduled dates by Channel Tres. In 2022 the bassist will embark upon a headlining UK tour in April before grouping with Anderson .Paak soon thereafter to support the Red Hot Chili Peppers on a stadium tour set to unfold in June.
