Time Skiffs arrives in February via Domino.
Animal Collective have signalled their return with the release of a new single entitled ‘Prester John’. The song will appear on and serves as the first preview of a long-awaited new album.
Time Skiffs will mark Animal Collective’s eleventh full-length project and first to release in six years at the time of its release in February, succeeding 2016’s acclaimed Painting With. The album was tracked in 2020 with the help of Italian producer Marta Salogni.
In support of the approaching project Animal Collective have also announced plans to tour throughout North America beginning in March 2022. Tickets for all confirmed dates are on sale now.
With glistening synth textures and the band’s opulent harmonised vocals anchored by a driving bassline, hear ‘Prester John’ below.
