Hear ‘Signal From The Noise’ and pre-order the group’s looming LP.

Toronto, Canada’s BADBADNOTGOOD have announced the release of their long-awaited fifth album.
Talk Memory marks the group’s first full-length album in five years and a return to operating as a trio, subsequent to the amicable departure of pianist and founding member Matthew Tavares in 2019. With a slew of notable names among its guest personnel, Laraaji, Karriem Riggins, Terrace Martin and Arthur Verocai all feature on the looming project whilst engineering and mixing duties were helmed by Nic Jodoin and venerable neo soul mainstay Russell Elevado respectively.
Discussing the creative process that birthed the album BADBADNOTGOOD elaborate in a press release
“It took a year or two of just living life to get to the place where the creative process was exciting again and once we actually went in to the studio it was the most concise recording and writing process we’ve ever had. We hope that the improvised studio performances bring the listener closer to our live experience.”
Ushering in the album’s announcement opener and leading single ‘Signal From The Noise’ serves a dynamic and evocative nine-minute-long journey through rapturous fuzzed out guitar, grandiose piano, celestial synths and thunderous drum fills typical of the band’s celebrated arsenal. Listen below.
