Four 1985 Haruomi Hosono albums to be reissued

The Endless Talking, Mercuric Dance, Paradise View and Coincidental Music return to vinyl for the first time in thirty-five years.

Four albums from the solo discography of Yellow Magic Orchestra component Haruomi Hosono are being given the reissue treatment.

The Endless Talking, Mercuric Dance, Paradise View and Coincidental Music will all return to the vinyl format for the first time since their respective 1985 releases courtesy of Hosono’s Monad Records and Teichiku Entertainment Inc.

With the series of albums largely comprising music made for film and television, Coincidental Music collects music that Hosono created for a series of commercials whilst Mercuric Dance and Paradise View served as the soundtracks to films by Arai Tadayoshi and Arai Tadayoshi respectively. The Endless Talking was commissioned to provide accompaniment to an art installation held at Italy’s Parco Del Museo Chiossone Comune Di Genova.

The newly announced campaign follows Light In The Attic‘s recent reissues of Hosono’s Hana ni Mizu, omni Sight Seeing and MEDICINE COMPILATION.
