Mndsgn announces new album entitled Rare Pleasure

Featuring the previously heard ‘Hope You’re Doin’ Better’.

Los Angeles beatsmith and rare groove pundit Mndsgn has shared details of a new album set for release in June.

Rare Pleasure marks the musician’s third album to release via revered independent label Stones Throw Records and features a slew of notable names among its personnel including Kiefer, Anna Wise, Swarvy and Miguel Atwood Ferguson.

‘Hope You’re Doin’ Better’ offers a precursor to the looming album’s full release, its rich textures and languorous, off-kilter rhythm permeated with a transcontinental sensibility that nods to Mndsgn’s years spent crate-digging and assimilating disparate genres.

Revisit ‘Hope You’re Doin’ Better’ below.

Rare Pleasure releases on June 4th via Stones Throw Records. Pre-order the album on yellow or black vinyl variants here.
