The producers will team with subscription-based record club Vinyl Me, Please for the release of their debut project.
This Spring will see celebrated hip-hop producers Kaytranada and Madlib release a new double-single exclusively on vinyl.
Set to be pressed to 7″ vinyl as part of a limited run, the single will be available exclusively to select members of subscription-based record club Vinyl Me, Please within their April shipments.
The release arrives in light of the pair’s recent appearance in Driven By Sound, a new two-part documentary created by Pitchfork and Lexus to promote a new iteration of the latter’s IS car model which features an in-built turntable. Part one is available to watch now and sees the pair test drive the Lexus IS, create beats and discuss their respective relationships with music and the vinyl format whilst browsing the shelves of Madlib’s Los Angeles-based brick and mortar record store Rappcats.
