Graphic-laden streetwear label Brain Dead have shared a special edition of their resident programme on ever-popular online radio station NTS dubbed Now That’s What I Call Brain Dead.
The brand’s new programme takes its name from the famed Virgin Records compilation album series first conceived in the 1980s and features a slew of contemporary musical artists covering popular songs from the 1990s, when the British album series was arguably at its zenith.
Spanning pop, R&B and the many facets of alternative rock, the show’s track listing sees the likes of Homeshake, Drugdealer, Mac DeMarco, Sofie, Portugal. The Man and Cherry Glazerr perform renditions of Len, Next, Jimmy Eat World, Belle And Sebastian, Deftones, Radiohead, No Doubt, Elliot Smith, Natalie Imbruglia, The Smashing Pumpkins and more.
