Burial shares new song Chemz

The track will see a physical release in April.

UK electronic musician Burial has returned.

Resurfacing on the heels of his second collaborative release with Kieran Hebden and Thom Yorke the enigmatic producer has shared a new song entitled ‘Chemz’, which arrives as a lone preview of a new two-track 12″ record slated for physical release in April 2021.

Speaking of the release longtime label Hyperdub elaborates

“Burial returns with a flash of light at the end of the 2020 tunnel.

‘Chemz’ is hooky, rushy and loved up – both an unhinged premonition of unleashed post-pandemic joy and a demonic flashback to past ecstasies in a hardcore style perfected in the UK. ‘Chemz’ is a 12 minute rave monster that has ingested several tracks and incorporated them into its distended body.”
