Peanut Butter Wolf previews new music from Mild High Club, Mndsgn, The Steoples in conversation with Gilles Peterson

New albums from the Stones Throw Records signees are expected in 2021.

Stones Throw Records head honcho Peanut Butter Wolf appeared as a featured guest within the latest episode of Gilles Peterson‘s BBC Radio 6 Music programme.

Speaking in conversation with Peterson, Peanut Butter Wolf utilised the platform to firstly discuss a handful of projects that released on his revered Californian label over the course of 2020 including LPs by Sofie, Steve Arrington and John Carroll Kirby. Thereafter it was confirmed that new albums by The Steoples, Mndsgn and Mild High Club are finished and expected to release via the label in 2021.

Accompanying the news, Peanut Butter Wolf offered exclusive previews of new songs by all three artists. Tune in to Peterson’s programme here where you can listen to all three songs at around the 2 hour mark.

Mild High Club’s last album Skiptracing released in 2016 and was followed by a 2017 collaboration with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, whilst Mndsgn released his Pink Siifu-featuring Snaxx last year.
