KOKOROKO have returned with the release of a new single entitled ‘Baba Ayoola’.
Following the February release of the London-based octet’s ‘Carry Me Home‘, KOKOROKO note their latest offering to have been created as a tribute to alto saxophonist Cassie Kinoshi‘s grandfather and describe the song as “an invitation to celebrate life.”
An energetic and infectious workout carried by vibrato-laden guitar, synth flourishes and typically ebullient horn and reed lines, stream and purchase ‘Baba Ayoola’ below.
