Sunset Rollercoaster share third album Soft Storm

The project features contributions from Michael Seyer, Paul Cherry and Oh Hyuk.

Taiwanese quintet Sunset Rollercoaster have shared their long-awaited third album.

Preceded by singles ‘Candlelight‘ and ‘Under The Skin‘ and with initial details shared in recent weeks, Soft Storm releases digitally today and features creative contributions from indie rock stalwarts Paul Cherry, Michael Seyer and HYUKOH frontman Oh Hyuk. Principle songwriter Tseng Kuo-Hung notes the literary works of Raymond Carver, Kazuo Ishiguro and Gabriel García Márquez to have influenced him during the time of the new album’s creation.

A rewarding listen that boasts a wealth of nuance, textural depth and considered use of space within its rich compositions and introspective lyricism, hear the latest addition to the band’s accomplished soul, funk and jazz fusion-leaning repertoire in full below.

Soft Storm is out now digitally. Purchase the album here.
