Hear ominous new single ‘Science Fair’ and pre-order the forthcoming LP on various formats now.

Cambridge and London-based post-punk outfit Black Country, New Road have announced the release of their long-awaited debut album.
Signing with celebrated independent label Ninja Tune after a year spent drumming up palpable buzz through two sold-out singles and an entrancing live set, the seven-piece band will unveil their first full-length body of work entitled For The First Time on February 5th.
With My Bloody Valentine collaborator and Flood & Moulder alumni Andy Savours employed for production and engineering duties, the forthcoming project comprises six tracks including reinterpretations of the previously heard ‘Sunglasses‘ and ‘Athens, France‘.
A precursor to the album’s looming release, new single ‘Science Fair’ conjures a tense and enveloping mood over its six minute runtime, traversing coarse and distorted synths, gnarled guitars and leering string and woodwind embellishments. Listen and watch an accompanying visual below.
For The First Time releases on February 5th via Ninja Tune. Pre-order the album on black, white and clear vinyl variants here or limited brown marbled vinyl here.
