Californian taste makers Stones Throw Records have announced a newly forged relationship with Toronto songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Maylee Todd.
To usher in the latest addition to their family Peanut Butter Wolf and co. have shared a new single from the multifaceted creative. ‘No Other’ sees Todd’s warm and enveloping vocals navigate a sparse compositional bed, driven simply by slick drums befitting of her beat-heavy new home, opulent synth pads and melodic lines communicated through the Yamaha Tenori-on that adorns the single’s artwork.
