Posthumous Ennio Morricone album announced

Morricone Segreto releases on November 6th.

The release of a posthumous album from the late and legendary film music composer Ennio Morricone music has been announced.

Entitled Morricone Segreto, the project is set to draw upon some of the storied Italian composer’s lesser known film scores, with the inclusion of 7 previously unheard works among its 27 tracks.

A trailer shared in accompaniment with the album announcement – and available to watch below – describes the project as “the hidden, dark tinged and psychedelic side of the maestro.”


Morricone Segreto releases on November 6th via Decca Records and CAM Sugar. Pre-order the album on CD, black vinyl or limited yellow vinyl here.
