After convening in July for the release of what has shaped up to be the jazz and hip-hop crossover project of the year, Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper and 9th Wonder have returned with a new iteration of their debut collaborative project as Dinner Party.
Entitled Dinner Party: Dessert the revamped project features the same deft and explorative songs as its predecessor, now presented with a slew of additional features.
Enlisting the talents of notable names and skilled practitioners of the genres that the project draws its stylistic sensibilities from, Snoop Dogg, Bilal, Herbie Hancock, Rapsody, Cordae, Tank And The Bangas, Punch, Alex Isley, Reuben Vincent, Buddy, and Malaya comprise those joining the outfit’s original components in the newly expanded lineup.
