The Postal Service have shared a new video that sees the supergroup conduct Zoom auditions for a new band member.
Following a cryptic teaser revealed by the band yesterday that simply read “your meeting will start tomorrow”, the faux auditions were captured to endorse the launch for HeadCount’s Make Your Vote Count campaign.
Among the slew of musicians that appear and perform over the course of the clip’s nineteen minute runtime are Dinosaur Jr’s J Mascis, Huey Lewis, TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, Japanese Breakfast, Guns N’ Roses’ Slash and Duff McKagan, Flight Of The Conchords’ Bret McKenzie and actress Anne Hathaway.
