Love-Lore spans 43 songs over its 35 minute runtime.

Prolific indie rock oddballs Deerhoof have surprise-released a new LP entitled Love-Lore.
Recorded at Manhattan’s Rivington Rehearsal Studios in one afternoon, the band’s latest project is a covers album spanning fragments of 43 songs over its 35 minute runtime. Covering typically disparate ground, Greg Saunier and co. put their hands to songs by Ornette Coleman, Sun Ra, Ennio Morricone, Kraftwerk, The Police, The Velvet Underground, Dionne Warwick, Parliament and many more. The project follows the arrival of the band’s fifteenth album Future Teenage Cave Artists in May.
