‘Open The Gates’ releases physically on 100% recycled vinyl for Record Store Day.
Jake Long’s seven-piece jazz collective Maisha have resurfaced for the release of a new single.
Entitled ‘Open The Gates’, the London-based ensemble’s latest body of work arouses a tense and enveloping mood propelled by an explosive rhythmic pulse over its sprawling sixteen-minute runtime. Released via Gilles Peterson’s revered Brownswood Recordings label, the project is out now digitally and also sees a limited vinyl pressing made of 100% recycled materials for Record Store Day.
