Grammy-winning soul singer and Soulquarian component Bilal has shared a new project.
Entitled VOYAGE-19, the project was written and recorded over three days in August in collaboration with New York-based recording studio HighBreedMusic. With all featured musicians contributing to the creative process remotely from the comfort of their homes, the three-track EP boasts an all-star cast of personnel with Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper, Nick Hakim, Chuck Treece formerly of seminal hardcore punk group Bad Brains, Simon Mavin of Hiatus Kaiyote and Madison McFerrin among its recruits.
