Hear ‘Grune The Destroyer Song’ now.
Thundercat has been tapped to provide an original song for the 80s television show from which he takes his name.
Appearing in the newly rebooted Thundercats Roar, the revered Los Angeles bassist voices the villainous saber-toothed tiger Grune The Destroyer in addition to providing a musical cut entitled ‘Grune The Destroyer Song’.
Speaking during a virtual panel discussion dubbed ComicCon@Home panel, Thundercat discussed his love for the original series and how he came to be given the moniker that he proudly helms by fellow musicians Erykah Badu and The Sa-Ra Creative Partners.
