Terrace Martin, Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper and 9th Wonder have released their debut album as the Dinner Party.
Promptly delivering on their word after only recently detailing the formation of the new project, Dinner Party is a byproduct of the members’ longtime friendships that sees their natural chemistry elevate seven compositions that tastefully navigate the jazz and hip-hop realms for which they are each best known.
Noteworthy contributions to the album come from singer, multi-instrumentalist and Noname collaborator Phoelix and guitarist Marlon Williams, best known for his longstanding tenure as Snoop Dogg’s bandleader.
