Aldous RH has released his debut album. Crafted and refined over a number of years, the long-awaited project arrives courtesy of celebrated independent label Moshi Moshi Records.
A lynchpin of the Manchester musical community, the musician’s LP draws upon friends both local and from further afield, featuring contributions from Jolan Lewis of The Foetals, Andrew PM Hunt, Alexander Brettin of Mild High Club, Tomas Dolas of Mr. Elevator and Solange collaborator John Carroll Kirby.
Deftly journeying through slick, lustrous balladry that takes its cues from the decades of funk and soul’s zenith, the album features the previously heard ‘Since 1992’ and ‘Reply’.
