Bryndon Cook returns with the announcement of his sophomore album under the Starchild & The New Romantic moniker.
Entitled FOREVER, the Solange and Blood Orange collaborator’s latest full-length solo effort arrives on June 19th, preceded by the previously heard ‘Mess Around’ and two new singles.
Continuing a quietly unveiled stream of new music, ‘Tape’ and ‘Fall_Window’ serve as reaffirmations of the NYC musician’s refined melodic and textural sensibilities, navigating celestial realms awash with thoughtful guitar lines and immersive phase distortion synthesis.
‘Tape’ features creative contributions from celebrated contemporary Chaz Bear, best known for his musical work as Toro Y Moi.
Other contributors to FOREVER include Nick Hakim, London O’Connor, Fabiana Palladino, Le’Asha and Rosehardt.
