Aired during a recent episode of Gilles Peterson’s BBC Radio 6 Music show.

After announcing the release of his debut album earlier this year, mysterious, nomadic musician Slingbaum has premiered a lifting from the upcoming project during an episode of Gilles Peterson’s BBC Radio 6 Music programme.
‘Behoove’ features appearances from a cast of revered musicians, headed by the vocals of neo soul luminaries Erykah Badu and D‘Angelo and featuring instrumental contributions from former Internet keyboardist Jameel Bruner (otherwise known as Kintaro), Chris Dave and more.
Hear the stirring and expressive sonics of ‘Behoove’ at the 1:50 mark of Peterson’s show here whilst it remains available for streaming.
Those who pre-ordered the physical edition of Slingbaum One are expected to receive digital access to the album at the end of May.
In addition to the aforementioned collaborators the LP features further appearances from Bilal, Nick Hakim, Damon Albarn, FKA Twigs and Questlove of The Roots.
