The composer and YMO musician performs songs from throughout his storied career.
Revered Japanese musician Ryuichi Sakamoto has shared a new live concert film entitled Playing The Piano For The Isolated.
Recorded in Tokyo in April the newly shared live performance sees Sakamoto play renditions of songs spanning his lengthy career, from the title theme of 1983’s beloved David Bowie-starring Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence to ‘Andata’ from his 2017 album async.
The new visual also features an appearance from celebrated shamisen player Hidejiro Honjoh.
