Proceeds from ‘Easy’ will be donated to the NHS.
Following the release of last month’s ‘Good Time‘, Friendly Fires frontman Ed Macfarlane has returned to share another new solo release.
Boasting a deft cover of Marc Jordan’s anthemic 1983 yacht rock single ‘Margarita’ on the project’s A side, the reverse sees Macfarlane’s own compositional chops put back to work in the aptly titled ‘Easy’, traversing a considered and slinking curation of analogue synthesis and off-kilter groove to elating effect.
As with the previously heard ‘Good Time’, Macfarlane has pledged to donate all proceeds generated from the purchase of ‘Easy’ to the NHS.
