Respect 4 Devotion lands on May 29th.

Aldous RH has shared a new single.
Partnering with UK label Moshi Moshi Records for the long-awaited release of his solo debut album, the Manchester staple – real name Alexander Hewett – previously shared the sultry groove of ‘Since 1992‘ to coincide with the initial announcement of his forthcoming LP.
Now, the Egyptian Hip Hop expat has resurfaced to share a second lifting entitled ‘Reply’.
Discussing the new single and its accompanying visual Hewett elaborates
“In this song I lament a situation in which I felt a romantic connection with somebody only to never see them again, deliberating whether to call them or text them. In layman’s terms this is also known as the modern phenomenon being ‘Ghosted’.
The video for ‘Reply’ deals with the fear of missing out, which is a bit of a modern plague for romantic and personal relationships. People are constantly looking for the next best thing & neglecting the things that already surround them. A lot of us also yearn for the attention of those who pay us no mind, more often than not this becomes a sad cycle, half the time your unrequited love is in the shadow of your unrequited lover’s own unrequited love.”
Another apt display of Hewett’s slinky and languid, funk-hued balladry, hear ‘Reply’ below.
