Hear ‘Your Saint’ now.

Oscar Jerome has announced the release of his debut album.
Initially casting an imprint on the music scene of London through a slew of collaborations and his dexterous, vibrant and soulful contributions to the work of celebrated afrobeat collective KOKOROKO, Jerome has recently been releasing a steady stream of singles under his own name in a build to the announcement of his first full-length solo effort.
Entitled Breathe Deep the project is preceded by lead single ‘Your Saint’, which stirs and captivates over six minutes with the enlisted help of Brother Portrait and Jerome’s KOKOROKO bandmates in a flurry of shuffling drums, rapturous horns and potent lyricism.

Elaborating on his forthcoming LP Jerome states
“Breathe Deep is a pretty broad presentation of who I am musically and my journey to get to this point. On a personal level, it’s a reflection of the effort put in during that path of self-bettering, both emotionally and in life more broadly. It’s about preparing oneself for failure and growing from that. Taking a moment to step back and see where things are going and where one has been.”
In keeping with both Jerome and the greater London musical community’s collaborative spirits, Breathe Deep features contributions from a number of key players from the capital city’s creative landscape including acclaimed singer-songwriter Lianne La Havas and members of Sons Of Kemet, Ezra Collective and Maisha.
Breathe Deep releases on July 10th via Caroline International. Pre-order the album on all physical formats here.
