New York City’s Bishop Nehru has reconnected with sparring partner and mentor MF DOOM for the latest preview of his new album.
Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts marks the eighth album from Nehru, adding to an accomplished body of work that has established him as a prolific and formidable force within the world of contemporary hip-hop, bolstered by the endorsements of Nas and the elusive MF DOOM.
Reconnecting with the latter after the success of their deft 2014 collaborative album NehruvianDOOM, ‘Meathead’ sees the pair trade bars over a potent groove constructed around the soulful leanings of Idris Muhammad’s 1974 single ‘Piece Of Mind’.
