The single arrives following news of the duo striking a deal with esteemed British label Warp.
Guildhall students Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye have reconvened to share a new single created under their Jockstrap moniker.
The duo returns following a busy year that saw its components do time as part of politically charged MC slowthai‘s touring band, star in BAFTA-winning independent film Bait and drum up a palpable buzz in response to the debut release from Ellery’s daring, cerebral and genre-defying septet Black Country, New Road.
Now returning their focuses to Jockstrap, Ellery and Skye share ‘Acid’, their first offering released since striking a record deal with esteemed British independent label Warp. Through a masterful juxtaposition of glitching electronics and soaring orchestral strings, hear the pair’s seamless return to form below.
