Hear the latest from the band’s upcoming sophomore album.
The Orielles have revealed a new single to bring in the new year.
Alongside the previously heard ‘Come Down On Jupiter’, ‘Space Samba (Disco Volador Theme)’ serves as a bookend to the Halifax band’s forthcoming sophomore album Disco Volador, which lands on February 28th courtesy of famed independent label Heavenly Recordings.
Employing playful, rustic percussion interplay and angular, modulation-swathed guitar motifs, ‘Space Samba (Disco Volador Theme)’ sees traits that the band cemented as calling cards in their praised debut album propelled to a dizzying new plane with the help of collaborator Marta Salogni’s heady and nuanced production.
