Mac DeMarco has shared a cover of John Coots and Haven Gillespie’s famed 1934 Christmas song ‘Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town’ in celebration of the 2019 festive period.
The rendition – which was tracked today at the Canadian musician’s affectionately named Jizz Jazz home studio – joins his growing catalogue of festive covers, having previously shared versions of Paul McCartney’s ‘Wonderful Christmastime’ and Irving Berlin’s ‘White Christmas’, immortalised by Bing Crosby in 1942.
