Lifted from the forthcoming Helium Remixes EP.
Canadian multi-instrumentalist Homeshake is set to release a collection of nine reworked cuts from his acclaimed fourth album on August 16th via longtime label and Omnian Music Group Imprint Sinderlyn.
Aptly titled Helium Remixes, the project boasts contributions from the likes of Ciel, Cecile Believe and Jessy Lanza, with the latter’s take on ‘Like Mariah’ streaming today.
Speaking on Lanza’s production and the contorted, thumping rhythms of her remix, Sagar states
“Jessy strikes me as a really shy pop star. Her hooks and production are so precise, but sort of hiding out in a way that really speaks to me. Expert level drum programming, as heard in her remix.”
