Over the short period of time since their inception West Yorkshire post-punk merchants Working Men’s Club have gone from strength to strength at a staggering rate.
A blistering debut single and support slots for the likes of Anton Newcombe’s Brian Jonestown Massacre and South London counterparts Fat White Family have preceded a recent milestone for the quartet as they were welcomed to the roster of praised independent label Heavenly Recordings in April.
Returning with their debut single for Heavenly, the band take their menacing brand of post-punk to the dance floor as grimacing guitars snarl over a bedrock of heady electronics and hypnotic drum machine rhythms.
