Love’s Last Chance arrives on August 16th.
Multi-instrumentalist Taylor McFerrin has reemerged to share details of his long-awaited sophomore album.
Love’s Last Chance is set to arrive on August 16th and follows McFerrin’s critically acclaimed 2014 debut Early Riser. Boasting much of the same otherworldly electronics and intoxicating, jazz and hip-hop infused compositional ideas that encapsulated his debut, the addition of McFerrin’s own voice in the songs that comprise Love’s Last Chance provides a distinction and showcases further personal immersion in to his forthcoming body of work.
Discussing the decision to add his own vocals to the instrumental repertoire of his new album, McFerrin states
“Over the years, I’d learned how to convey myself well through my instrumentals. But singing brings me closer than ever to being able to share everything that’s going on inside of me.”
