‘Make Believe’ marks the Blakfish expat’s first original composition under his current moniker.

Following the national praise that surrounded his recent covers album Somebody Else’s SongsMidlands-based musician Sam Manville returns to unveil the first of his own compositional works under the newly adopted S. T. Manville guise.

Wistful and ruminative, ‘Make Believe’ is an ode to the inevitable longing that we succumb to as adults for the naivety and innocence that encapsulates childhood, communicated through emotive vocals, delicate guitar playing and rustic string embellishments.

Coinciding with the release of Manville’s latest work is an accompanying visual that compiles footage of his daughter Raphaella and premieres via the Fruit & Grooves Collective blog.

Through August Manville performs at a string of UK shows in London, Manchester, Brighton and Birmingham. View details of the dates and venues below.
