Born out of the dissolution of New York bands Hear Hums and Peace Arrow is Sreym Hctim, the stirring and formidably imaginative solo project of Mitch Myers.

Atmospheric and sparse, Myers’ debut album under the Sreym Hctim moniker is engaging throughout owed predominantly to its expertly curated and perpetually rotating cast of instrumentation. The marriage of affecting string and woodwind passages, raw, primitive percussive loops and menacing vocals yields haunting, yet immersive and mesmeric results.
