Steve Lacy‘s highly-anticipated debut album has landed.
Temporarily stepping back from his duties as a key component of R&B stalwarts The Internet, Lacy’s solo debut album Apollo XXI features the previously heard singles ‘N Side’, ‘Outro Freestyle’, ‘Playground’ and ‘Hate CD’.
Lacy notes that the album was recorded in his sister’s bedroom whilst she studied at college and lyrically addresses his experiences between adolescence and adulthood. The album arrives the day after Lacy’s twenty-first birthday.
