Armed with a Contax T3 the elusive musician photographed the Met Gala for style magazine Vogue.

Earlier in May Frank Ocean made an appearance at the Met Gala’s annual fundraising event, however in contrast to the elusive singer songwriter’s contemporaries he turned heads for his understated choice of outfit; a black Prada anorak and Contax T3 compact camera paired with a simple shirt, tie and trouser combination.
Throughout the evening it was noted that Ocean was seen taking a number of photos on his point-and-shoot which have since been revealed to be for a specific purpose. For a second year Ocean was Vogue’s gun for hire, recruited to provide an insight in to the prestigious event that is more intimate and unrefined than anything within the reach of a paparazzi’s lens.
Included in Ocean’s gallery are snapshots of Kendall Jenner making profane hand gestures, Jared Leto’s detached Gucci head circling the dinner tables and an up-close portrait of Ezra Miller adorned with a dizzying optical illusion makeup design.
