Flamagra arrives later this month.
Flying Lotus – real name Steven Ellison – has announced that he will hit the road for an expansive North American tour that begins in August.
The tour unfolds in support of Fly Lo’s staggering 27-track album Flamagra which marks his first full-length release in five years and boasts a slew of noteworthy collaborators. Among the album’s guests are Solange, George Clinton of Parliament Funkadelic, Tierra Whack, David Lynch, Thundercat and Anderson .Paak.
Coinciding with the tour announcement Ellison has revealed the album’s latest single. A collaborative effort with Anderson .Paak and Thundercat, the latter’s funk-laden fingerprints are noticeable from the word go.
