The rollout for Here Comes The Cowboy continues.

Mac DeMarco has shared the third single from his imminently releasing fourth album Here Comes The Cowboy.
Entitled ‘On The Square’, the new album cut showcases a continuity in the subdued, down-tempo and ruminative stylistic tendencies that have been presented throughout the LP’s rollout to date.
Meanwhile the single’s accompanying visual – conceptualised by Catherine Sweet and directed by William Sipos and Sean Campos – treads boundlessly peculiar territory as DeMarco stands at the helm of a theatre stage before diving in to a birdbath filled with milk to be transported to an alternate dimension. As the aforementioned unfolds DeMarco is adorned with a tuxedo and flesh-coloured pig, feline and Cthulhu facial masks.

‘On The Square’ follows the previously heard singles ‘Nobody’ and ‘All Of Our Yesterdays’. Last week DeMarco performed the latter during a televised appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in addition to a minimalistic cover of Feist’s ‘One Evening’.
Here Comes The Cowboy releases via Mac’s Record Label on May 10th.
