Levitation music festival returns to Austin, Texas this November with a lineup that ventures in to the deepest crevices of experimental and psychedelic guitar music. This weekend the celebrated festival have unveiled phase one of their 2019 lineup and it boasts a wealth of names that fans of all things noisy and tripped out will not want to miss.
Currently penned to headline the event formerly known as Austin Psych Fest’s 2019 iteration are The Velvet Underground’s John Cale, legendary alt rock trio Dinosaur Jr, freak folk linchpin Devendra Banhart and Deafheaven.
Other highlights on the bill include Japan’s Kikagaku Moyo who make two appearances over the weekend, Tim Presley’s White Fence, Torche and Tobacco‘s inimitable and idiosyncratic Black Moth Super Rainbow.
