Tame Impala have shared their second new single of 2019.
The official studio recording of ‘Borderline’ arrives following a live debut of the song during Tame Impala’s recent appearance as musical guests on Saturday Night Live. Stylistically the cut unravels in a similar vein to its predecessor – March’s ‘Patience’ – as the band ventures further in to disco, funk and yacht rock-leaning territory whilst still retaining the languorous quality that runs through the bloodline of their discography to date.
Alongside the release of ‘Borderline’ comes a string of new UK tour dates that will take place in June. Among the dates is a performance at London’s 02 Arena.
